Advanced
The Email Assistant reads everything that arrives at your assistant address. Anything that can send email can talk to Deck — that includes scripts, cron jobs, webhooks, no-code tools, and Claude itself.
Auto-forwarding from Gmail & Outlook
You don't have to forward every message by hand. Configure Gmail or Outlook to auto-forward the mail you care about to your assistant address, and Deck files it the moment it arrives — same as if you'd hit Forward yourself.
Scheduled snapshots
Anything that updates regularly — your calendar, your CRM, a folder of newsletters — can be turned into a snapshot that emails itself to Deck on a cadence. The next time you ask a question, the freshest version is already there.
Webhook-driven context
Some context is best captured the moment it happens. A meeting gets booked, a deal moves stage, a transcript finishes uploading — instead of polling on a schedule, hook into the event and email Deck right then.
Designing your projects
Once you start emailing Deck from scripts and webhooks, the projects you set up up front matter more than they do when you're forwarding mail by hand. The right split keeps snapshots from colliding, makes routing unambiguous, and lets you ask cross-project questions later.
Drive Deck with Claude
Everything on the cron and webhooks pages is small scripts that send email. You don't have to write those scripts yourself — Claude is good at this exact shape of work.
