How to engage with your assistant
You can engage with your assistant a few different ways — each one fits a different moment of the day.
Forward an email with a request
Forward a thread to your assistant and add a question — "summarize this thread" or "what's the latest interaction with this account?" Deck reads the thread and replies in your inbox.
Forward to store
Forward an email with attachments and tell Deck where they belong — "please keep this file in [project]". Deck files attachments to the right project. If the project doesn't exist yet, Deck asks you what to call it.
Email your assistant directly
Fresh email, no forwarding. Ask anything across your projects, accounts, and integrations — or just throw it a question off the cuff. Your assistant has all your context on hand.
Missions
Long-running asks. "Dig into this prospect" or "build me a one-pager on Acme." Deck plans, executes, and synthesizes a short brief at the end.
When in doubt, Deck asks
If a message is genuinely ambiguous — two project names, no clear sender, mixed attachments — Deck replies and asks you to pick. Choose one from the reply and the email is filed.
