Replies that stay in the thread

Deck replies inside the same conversation, never as a new thread — and only to you.

What that means in practice

  • Stays organized. A back-and-forth with Deck reads like any other email exchange.
  • Reply-to-continue. You can reply to Deck's email to ask a follow-up — "Can you also pull the latest 10-K?" — and the next reply appears below.
  • Replies only go to you. Even if other people are on the thread — colleagues you CC'd, customers, anyone — Deck's reply is sent only to you. The original context stays in the thread; the assistant's answers don't.

A small catch

Some email clients re-group conversations by subject line. If you change the subject when replying to Deck, your client may pull the message into a new thread. Leave the subject as-is and threading will hold.
