Getting Started
Core concepts
A short glossary so the rest of these docs make sense.
Project
A project is one focused topic — a customer account, a deal, a hiring loop, a research thread. Documents, chats with Deck, and forwarded mail all live inside a project. Most things you do in Deck happen against a project.
Scheduled task
A scheduled task is something Deck does for you on a cadence — a daily morning brief, a weekly customer-update digest, an overnight competitor watch. The result lands in your inbox. See Scheduled Tasks.
Email Assistant
Your personal Deck email address. Forward anything you want filed, or CC it on a thread to give Deck context. See Email Assistant.
Vigil
Vigil is Deck's always-on layer. It watches your inbox, calendar, and active projects, and surfaces the things worth your attention — a stalled thread, a teammate's question, a relevant article — without you asking. See Vigil.
Integrations
Integrations connect Deck to the tools you already use — Google or Microsoft for mail and files, plus Notion, HubSpot, Fireflies, and Granola for context. See Integrations.
