Schedules
A schedule tells Deck when a task should run. Pick a common cadence from the menu, or build something custom. Most people start with daily or weekly and tune from there.

Common cadences
| Cadence | Runs |
|---|---|
| Hourly | Every hour, on the hour |
| Daily | Every day at the time you choose |
| Every weekday | Monday through Friday |
| Weekly | Once a week on the day and time you pick |
| One-time | Just once, at the date and time you set |
For most people, daily or weekly is the right starting point. You can always change it later.
Time zones
Schedules follow your account time zone. If you travel, the task still fires at the local time you originally chose. You can change the default time zone in your settings.
When tasks stop firing
You can give any task an end date (for example, stop after the product launch wraps up). Once that date passes, the task is paused automatically — it stays on your list but won't run again until you turn it back on.
